I love food and I love having fun so it seems like a perfect combination to go to Moon’s Kitchen for food and fun. Now that Moon’s Kitchen Cafe is open for dinner we can become your favorite boise dinner restaurant! Keep your eye on our blog as we will be announcing our upcoming events here as well as specials for our blog readers.
I was thinking still about the 4th of July and celebrating American’s Birthday when it occurred to me that although America can’t really give me a Gift, I could give myself a gift…of steak! It’s true, I love steak and it is why we sought out a Top Choice Prime Rib for grilling. It was selfish, totally selfish on my part. I don’t want to pay $30 or more for a steak dinner. I know I am not the only one in the world right now who loves steak, loves to go out but has a tight budget to look after. It is true, I own a restaurant and therefore should be able to get my steak dinner regardless of cost. I couldn’t though because Moon’s Kitchen was not open for dinner. We have a lovely 8 oz rib steak on our Breakfast menu but when I want steak…I want STEAK! Many an evening did I have a hankering for steak and after looking at prices around town for a decent Steak Dinner that did not include Top Sirloin I was relegated to $19-$25 price tags for what I really wanted. What I really wanted was a great big honkin’ steak and I wanted it for under $15. That’s what I wanted. So, back to, now I can skip down to Moon’s Kitchen between 3pm-8pm on Friday or Saturday and order up a steak dinner because we are finally open for dinner. I’m all a twitter thinking about steak and I want to make my point. My point is….we created a great Steak Dinner for our menu. It’s not fancy but it is 14 ounces of tender Prime Rib cut Steak grilled to perfection for only $14.50. It includes a choice of potato, daily vegetable, soup or salad and a roll. We make sure you won’t go away hungry! I personally love our Steak Dinner because I designed it to make myself happy. I hope it makes others as happy as it has made me! The only other thing that could make our Steak Dinner better is our Steak Dinner for less. So I did that too, check out our special offer of a $5 Dinner Certificate. Now Moon’s Kitchen can be your favorite Boise dinner restaurant! So, I say give yourself a steak gift and celebrate America’s birthday the right way, the full way, the super duper Moon’s Kitchen Steak Dinner way! I’m just sayin…
Being a locally owned restaurant we love to acknowledge those who not only acknowledge us (as we work really hard!) but also acknowledge our local industry. Behind the Menu does just that. When you are looking for extensive information on “locally owned” non-franchise food then you just have to check out “Behind the Menu”. They are doing more for our “foodies” than anyone as far as Moon’s is concerned. There is a lot to choose from in the Treasure Valley and as Behind the Menu so greatly puts it on their site “Pull up a chair, and let’s talk about food. More specifically, let’s talk about the culinary scene of the Treasure Valley.” If you want to get even more information about Moon’s Kitchen Cafe you’ll find it at Behind the Menu! Check us out at Behind the Menu on Moon’s you’ll be surprised what you find!
